TLS Vision Pro

For TLS, I designed an innovative training solution using Apple Vision Pro to help maintenance employees confidently prepare for complex tasks, such as a gripper replacement on the TS4500. The concept centered around Megan, a newly trained SSR, navigating her first on-site repair call. Using the Vision Pro, she could immerse herself in a realistic 3D environment that simulated the machine’s physical and auditory details, creating a sense of presence and familiarity. The design integrated interactive elements, allowing Megan to explore a detailed 3D model of the TS4500, tap on components to access relevant information, and follow step-by-step instructions for the gripper replacement process. Real-time feedback guided her through potential errors, such as improper part placement, fostering both confidence and competence. By blending immersive visuals with actionable learning, the Vision Pro experience enabled Megan to build muscle memory and reduce on-site anxiety, preparing her for a successful repair. This project exemplifies how spatial computing and interactive design can transform maintenance workflows and empower employees with engaging, hands-on training.
